'DEATH IN PARADISE' returns with record ratings!

Death in Paradise returned with a massive 6.85m viewers and easily won the 9pm slot.  It outgunned BBC1’s slot average of 4.91m (20.51%) for the past 12 months.

“I let the Caribbean breeze waft over me and gave in to its shamelessly escapist charms. It’s the TV equivalent of diving into a deep blue duvet... Death in Paradise is a laid-back antidote to the wobbly camera and blood-red gore that has become the rigueur for crime thrillers.” (Metro 09/01/13)
